I know somebody who will always need extra help. This is my attempt to articulate what I’d like to think they’d say if they could. But...... they probably wouldn’t.

Song Review from Musicians Together Magazine:
Acoustic uptempo country number with the writer telling us how he feels ‘”different’ to everyone but especially to his wife/partner.

What follows are some great lyrics and rhyming couplets ” You see things just for what they are – I see things for all they might be
you might see beauty but it’s a different thing for me”

The writer describes himself as introverted , sullen and perhaps even angry - ” there’s darkness swirling round my thoughts …”
He laments not being like lover / partner - he admits he sees things differently – ” i can’t be like you - I wish i knew how to”

So the song carries on in the same vein in verse 2 but what’s nice is the twist in the last line of the chorus where he tells her despite all his failings he will always love her - ” I’ll love you”. So I guess this song is as close to reality for many couples as we all have our differences but somehow it still works as long as there is always love. – Brian Aherne.

I learnt to knock out a tune only recently. I do acoustic stuff, often my own originals, because that's easier than doing justice to somebody else's song! I use a uke because it's easy to play and can play any genre. I may not be brilliant at this music lark. But I am happy!
